Follow the Bible Greater New York
There is a very special Bible which will be taken by Youth, Young Adults, Pathfinders, Adventurers, and Master Guides throughout the entire territory, all of the churches, of the Greater New York Conference; the journey of the Travelling Bible begins at the Livingston Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Upstate, New York, on Saturday, January 31 and will finish at the Staten Island Spanish Church in the Fall of 2010. Through this period of time you will be able to Follow the Bible and see where it is and its next stops in the website of the Adventist Youth Ministries Department, www.gnycyouth.com.
At every stop, the young people carrying the Bible will challenge the local church to read the Bible and continue to be the People of the Book. A Guide to read the Bible in one year will be provided to members at each local church during this special visit. Yurilemi Rivas has been appointed to serve as the Reading the Bible Initiative Coordinator in Greater New York.
